Enterprise Data Program

At Visa, Inc. John mobilized and managed the company's enterprise data strategy, consisting of 150 projects over 45 initiatives and 5 major tracks galvanizing the company's vision and mission in its use of data and information. John worked with several consultants at Deloitte to transition the formulated strategy, then brought the strategy to life through evangelism, intense risk management, executive communication, and development of operational processes and program architecture.

International Program Development

At PayPal (eBay), John worked with the marketing and product divisions in Europe to bring critical information systems and data analysis to support their strategic objectives. John worked closely with the product managers in Great Britian, to develop and deploy analysis and reports critical to the region; and concomitantly worked with product managers in France, Germany, and Italy to support their unique payment offerings.

Government Compliance

At Hewlett Packard, John worked with the government compliance program office to build a data system and operational processes for compliance with their General Services Administration (GSA) program. John systematically analyzed large volumes of data to ensure conditions for their price reduction clause (PRC) were properly managed and reported.

Customer Loyalty

At Visa, Inc. John worked with the Global Loyalty and Information Products division to develop a cardmember loyalty system to be leveraged by partnering financial institutions. John managed a critical data migration to a third-party platform, that greatly increased the program's flexibility and scalability.

Financial Consulting and Analysis

At Sun Microsystems, Inc. John partnered with the finance organization to develop a sophisticated information system used by over 300 finance professionals. The system included a custom accounts receivable data warehouse, and advanced analysis for days sales outstanding (DSO).
